Amazon launches its own branded TVs with low preorder prices

Amazon just entered the TV maker world perfectly timed for the start of 2021 football season. Introducing the Amazon Fire TV Omni Series that integrates the best of both Alexa voice commands and the entertainment interface of Fire TV streaming experience.

As if low prices were not already available on name brand TV makers, now Amazon will compete with the big names while including many similar bells and whistles like 4K UHD resolution, HDR10, HLG and Dolby Digital Plus.

“We’ve reimagined what a TV can do by building it with two of our most popular experiences at the core—the intelligent always-available power of far-field Alexa, and Fire TV’s content-forward approach to entertainment,” said Daniel Rausch, Vice President of Amazon Entertainment Devices and Services about the announcement.

In addition to the top-end Omni Series televisions, Amazon is also introducing an affordable line called the new “4-Series” starting at $369.99. Pre-orders are live now and shipping October 27th here.

There are a total of 3 sizes in the 4-Series line of Amazon’s new TVs. 43, 50 and 55 inch.

“Alexa, what should I watch?”

“Our new Fire TV Omni Series smart TVs, with hands-free access to Alexa, make controlling your TV faster, simpler, and more natural,” Rausch continued.

The 43 inch is the smallest in the Amazon Fire Omni Series 4K UHD Smart TV with hands-free Alexa Pre-Order now for $409.99 Shipping October 27th.

Amazon Fire TV Omni Series will be available in 43, 50, 55, 65 and 75-inch models.

And for those already watching a new state-of-the-art TV, Amazon introduced its latest Fire TV Stick 4K Max.

The newest streaming stick has many of the new features appearing on Amazon Omni Series TVs including an Alexa voice-powered remote, 40% more power than the previous Fire Stick 4K and is WiFi ready for the faster WiFi 6 new standard that makes streaming video over your home wireless router a breeze.

I’m eagerly looking forward to testing the Dolby Atmos audio in this as soon as I can get my hands on it.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is available starting October 7th priced at $54.99.
