The hit show The Outlaws is back for a 3rd season which will premiere on Prime on May 31. This season will likely be the last and will follow the group of outlaws moving on with their lives as their crime boss is now in prison. However, when a dead body is discovered, they’re all forced to go back into action.

The First Omen came to theaters back in April, and now you can stream it on Hulu beginning May 31. The horror film is a prequel to the 1976 film The Omen and the 6th film in The Omen franchise. It tells the story of a woman who starts to question her own faith when she uncovers a terrifying conspiracy to bring about the birth of evil incarnate in Rome.

Ren Faire is a 3-part docuseries coming to Max on June 2. This series will follow George Coulam, founder and “king” of the largest Renaissance fair in the US, the Texas Renaissance Festival, as he attempts to find a successor to his throne.

HBO’s documentary MoviePass, MovieCrash is coming to Max on May 29. It chronicles the rise and fall of the movie ticketing startup MoviePass, highlighting its initial promise and subsequent catastrophic failure. The film delves into the lesser-known story of Stacy Spikes and Hamet Watt, two Black entrepreneurs who founded the company but were later ousted, watching as their brainchild collapsed.

It also examines the challenges faced by Black founders in securing venture capital, with Spikes and Watt’s struggles serving as a stark example of the broader issue. Despite the company’s rapid growth under new leadership, which drastically reduced prices, it suffered from unsustainable financial losses and questionable management decisions, leading to its bankruptcy in 2020. The documentary sheds light on the founders’ journey, the stark disparities in funding for Black-owned businesses, and the ongoing evolution of venture capitalists’ attitudes towards diversity.

I.S.S.

I.S.S. is a science fiction thriller film that hit theaters in 2023. Now, you’ll be able to stream the film on Paramount+ with a Showtime subscription beginning June 3. The film tells the story of U.S. and Russian astronauts who each receive orders to take control of the International Space Station by any means necessary when a worldwide conflict breaks out on Earth. The film stars Ariana DeBose and Chris Messina.

Mayor of Kingstown – Season 3

Another show returning for its 3rd season is Mayor of Kingstown, which will be back on Paramount+ on June 2. This is the first new season of the show since star Jeremy Renner’s near-fatal snowplow accident that happened back in 2023. This season will show the main character, Mike McLusky, as he faces new challenges to keep the peace while being faced with a threat from somebody from his past.

Poolman

Poolman is a comedy film that will be available to rent or buy on Apple TV+ beginning May 31. It tells the story of a Los Angeles pool cleaner who is approached by a femme fatale to help uncover corruption in a shady business deal.
