The Creator

The new sci-fi action film The Creator will be coming to Hulu on December 20. It tells the story of a war occurring between humans and artificial intelligence and one ex-special forces agent who is given the assignment to kill The Creator, an elusive architect of advanced AI. It stars John David Washington and Gemma Chan.

The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes 

One of the biggest movies to hit theaters this year was The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, and now it’s coming to Prime Video for renting or buying on December 19. The film is a prequel to the original Hunger Games trilogy, telling the story of how President Coriolanus Snow came to power and his journey helping a young woman from District 12 compete in the 10th annual Hunger Games. The film stars Rachel Ziegler, Tom Blyth, Hunter Schafer, Peter Dinklage, and Viola Davis.

Trolls Band Together 

A favorite among kids this year was Trolls Band Together, and now you can rent or buy it on Prime Video beginning December 19. It tells the story of Poppy discovering that Branch and his four brothers were once part of her favorite boy band. When one brother, Floyd, gets kidnapped, Poppy and Branch journey together to reunite the other brothers and rescue Floyd from a fate even worse than pop culture obscurity. Some of the voice actors featured include Troy Sivan, Camila Cabello, Amy Schumer, Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, and RuPaul.

Anatomy of a Fall

Another film that will be available to rent or buy on Prime Video is Anatomy of a Fall. This one will become available on December 22 and tells the story of a woman who is suspected of murdering her husband while their blind son faces a moral dilemma as the only witness to the crime. The French film is also getting tons of awards buzz and stars Sandra Hüller.

Dream Scenario

Nicolas Cage’s latest film is Dream Scenario, and it will be available to rent or buy on Prime Video beginning December 22. Cage plays Paul Matthews, a family man whose life gets turned upside down when multiple strangers start approaching him to tell him that he’s been appearing in their dreams.
