Time to Update Your Apple Software

After Apple released its new 14.5 iOS software last week, they just released another security fix for your iPhone and iPad operating system: 14.5.1.  These fixes address the potential for hackers to take over your device.

macOS Big Sur 11.3.1 macOS Big Sur 03 May 2021
iOS 14.5.1 and iPadOS 14.5.1 iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation) 03 May 2021
iOS 12.5.3 iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, and iPod touch (6th generation) 03 May 2021
watchOS 7.4.1 Apple Watch Series 3 and later 03 May 2021

 
Be sure to update your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch go to

Settings > General> Software Updated > Click “Download and Install”.

If you have macOS Big Sur already installed, to update your laptop or computer, go to

    • the apple icon in the top left corner of your computer
    • click “About this Mac”
    • On the Overview tab, click the “Software Update” button
    • After it checks for updates, be sure to download the updates.
    • Please note if you have not yet installed macOS Big Sur at all, you may consider holding off as this operating system is still somewhat relatively new

When the update has been downloaded, click the blue “Install button” and within minutes your devices will be updated!
