- Open the 2 windows you want to split
- In one of the windows, hover your mouse over the green maximize button (the green circle button in the top-left corner of the window)
- Choose one of the available options, such as Tile Window to Left of Screen or Tile Window to Right of Screen, and click on it
- Both windows should now be displayed side by side in a split-screen view
Some applications may not support split-screen functionality, in which case you may need to use third-party software to achieve the desired split-screen setup.
How to change the resolution on a Mac
