Gift wrapping truly is a skill, and unfortunately, it’s not one that every person is blessed with having. Many people struggle during the holidays to wrap gifts nicely, especially if you got your loved one something that doesn’t fit perfectly in a box like a football or a certain-shaped handbag.

Luckily, a stay-at-home mom turned social media sensation Lennia McCarter is here to help. McCarter has gained an enormous following on Instagram and TikTok ever since she started posting videos of how she neatly organizes and folds items back in 2020. She has since taken on the title of “Folding Queen,” and now she’s helping people across the internet by showing how you can beautifully and neatly wrap even the most complicated gifts.

Here’s one example of how she managed to perfectly wrap a handbag with no box, just wrapping paper.

And another great example of how she managed to wrap a Stanley reusable cup with simple wrapping and tissue paper.

In the meantime, here are some other funny and creative ways that you can wrap your gifts to your loved ones this year.

Make a joke out of it

A Christmas prank is a great way to get a good laugh out of everyone and make some great holiday memories. Before you wrap your gift for your loved one, try to think of ways to really fool them. For example, this person posted a picture of how one of their coworkers decided to wrap a gift, and they purposely made it look like a person in a body bag.

You could also think about things that your loved one likes and wrap their gifts based on that. For example, this person has a loved one who is a big Harry Potter fan, so they got creative and made all the gifts for that person Harry Potter themed.

Reuse materials

If you really want to save money and resources, you can always use items around the house to help wrap your gift. This person decided to use an old tablecloth and a rope to wrap their gift and used the excuse that they were “going green.”

Use a balloon

If you have a gift that is smaller and lightweight, you can even use a balloon as your wrapping paper. Simply put the gift inside the balloon when you blow it up and then your loved one can pop it when it’s time to open a gift. It’s a great way to make for a fun surprise.
