Because Charlotte is still in the prototype phase, those details may come later as the team refines its technology and tests real-world builds. For now, the focus appears to be on proving the concept: that a large, mobile robot can rapidly print sustainable, durable housing shells using recycled materials, a promising first step, but not yet a full construction solution.

While this may be the future method of housing construction. It bodes disaster for housing construction workers the article suggest that its use more advantage for areas where labor is scarce. Tthere no guarantees that the technology would remain in labor depressed areas – thus creating more unemployment where there is an abundance of unskilled workers available .
