The fact that you did not include any of the Amazfit watches in this list is EGREGIOUS. I have use almost all the watches on this list, and for value, features, price point, the free, in depth health app (Zepp) is very hard to beat. The T-Rex and the Balance 2 are on par in accuracy and the cross platform integration for either Apple or Android ecosystems, including data sharing with Apple Heath and the various Android health apps is seamless The Balance 2, in my opinion, is as good if not better than even the top of the line Apple products. With 10 plus days of battery life, no more daily frustrations of “strategically” having to charge your watch every day including the daily window of lost data is a big bonus. At just under $300, it is hard to beat. The T-Rex 3 Pro, at just under $400 is a solid watch, robust and designed specifically for outdoors activities. GPS and state of the art sensors are all as accurate as any watch I have ever used. BOTH watches use the Bühlmann ZHL-16c algorithm and are fully capable SCUBA dive watches. When tested against my dedicated dive computer, the provided data for each dive was essentially the same. All of these watches described in the article are excellent, but before committing a lot more money for, IMO, the same or less capability, do yourself a favor and research the Amazfit line of fitness watches.
