New year, new decade, new innovations.  Next level inventors and consumer-shifting product announcements from the biggest consumer electronics show in the world.  Areas of growth:  5G, AI, Thinner TVs that act like smartphones/tablets and help with your health, race for the smartest cars, makeup mirrors that make you look better, blockchain, Qi wireless charging surfaces moving into commonly used spaces like the nightstand surface.  There is so much hitting our near future that I felt like a kid in a candy store…again.

Walking up to this showstopper, I found Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi in the midst of a rehearsal standing in front of this giant drone-looking Uber Flying Taxi coming in 2023.  Hyundai is the latest partner to build and deploy these for Uber.  The all-electric air taxi will be part of the future “Aerial Ride-share Network”.
