Shortcomings
Shortcomings will be coming to Netflix on February 1. The rom-com tells the story of a filmmaker in California whose girlfriend moves to New York for an internship, forcing him to think about what he wants for his romantic future. The film stars Justin H. Min, Sherry Cola, and Debby Ryan and was directed by Randall Park.
NASCAR: Full Speed
If you’re in the mood for a docuseries and are interested in NASCAR, you can catch NASCAR: Full Speed on Netflix beginning January 30. This series follows NASCAR drivers and their teams as they compete for the championship title. Some of the drivers featured include Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, and Tyler Reddick.
HULU
Freelance
For action adventure film lovers, Freelance will be coming to Hulu on February 2. The film stars John Cena, Alison Brie, and Christian Slater, and tells the story of a former special forces operative who is now stuck at a dead-end desk job. He decides to take on a freelance gig to provide security for a washed-up journalist as she interviews a dictator, and when a military coup breaks out, they must figure out how to make it out alive.
Feud: Capote vs. The Swans
Feud: Capote vs. The Swans is a new show coming to FX and will be streaming on Hulu the following day. It premieres on January 31 and then will start streaming on Hulu beginning February 1. The show includes an all-star cast of Naomi Watts, Diane Lane, Chloë Sevigny, Calista Flockhart, Demi Moore, Molly Ringwald, Jessica Lange, and Tom Hollander.
This is the second season of the anthology Feud series created by Ryan Murphy and follows the story of a group of New York City socialite women who try to do everything in their power to ruin the life of Truman Capote after he writes fictionalized accounts of their scandalous personal lives.

Genius: MLK/X
The latest installment of the anthology series Genius follows the lives of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X from their formative years to becoming some of the most famous Civil Rights activists of all time. The show will premiere on ABC and National Geographic on February 1 and will be available to stream beginning February 2 on both Hulu and Disney+.

PRIME
Wonka
Wonka made a big splash in theaters back in 2023 and now it’s heading to Prime to rent or buy beginning January 30. If you loved the original Wonka movie that came out in 1971 as well as the remake in 2005, this musical extravaganza will warm your heart by giving you a peak at Willy Wonka’s origin story. The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, and Olivia Colman.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
If you loved the original Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie that came out back in 2005, you’ll be happy to know that there’s now a Mr. and Mrs. Smith series coming to Prime Video on February 2. The show stars Donald Glover, Maya Erskine, Michaela Coel, Paul Dano, and John Turturro. The spy comedy series tells the story of two strangers who have given up their lives and identities to be thrown together as partners in both espionage and marriage.

Past Lives
Past Lives was a big favorite among movie lovers when it hit theaters last year, and now you can catch it on Paramount+ with a Showtime subscription beginning February 2. The film stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo, and John Magaro and tells the story of two childhood best friends named Nora and Hae Sung, who are torn apart as kids when Nora’s family decides to emigrate from South Korea to America. They then reunite decades later and are forced to confront their relationship and life choices. Past Lives has also been nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture.
MAX
Dicks: The Musical
Dicks: The Musical is a comedy musical movie that was released in theaters in 2023 and is now coming to Max on February 2. It’s a wild take on The Parent Trap, telling the story of two adult businessmen who discover that they’re long-lost twins and begin an absurd journey to reunite their parents once again. The film stars Joshua Sharp, Aaron Jackson, Megan Mulally, Nathan Lane, Bowen Yang, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Clone High
Clone High is back again for a second season premiering on Max on February 1. The adult animated sitcom will continue to tell stories of the antics taking place in a high school full of clones of notable historical figures. Some of the figures featured on the show include Abe Lincoln, Joan of Arc, JFK, Cleopatra, Harriet Tubman, and Christopher Columbus.
Curb Your Enthusiasm – Season 12
The 12th and final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will be coming to Max on February 4. It will feature Larry David gracing the screen one last time as he complains more about his misanthropic adventures in this fictionalized version of his life.

DISNEY+
Choir
Another docuseries you can enjoy this week is Choir, which comes to Disney+ on January 31. The 6-part series follows the Detroit Youth Choir as they prepare to perform for the biggest show of their lives at Carnegie Hall in New York City, The series shows the highs and lows that these young children face growing up in Detroit and balancing their lives both in and out of choir practice.
PEACOCK
Vanderpump Rules – Season 11
The Bravo reality TV favorite Vanderpump Rules is back for an 11th season and will be premiering on January 30 and streaming on Peacock beginning February 1. This season will follow the aftermath of “Scandoval,” referring to the affair that happened between cast member Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss. Other returning cast members besides Sandoval include Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana Madix, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, and Tom Schwartz.
